Services can be expanded to incorporate a review of various records, interviews with select collateral contacts, or expanded psychological testing batteries. The clinician may also complete and prepare other documents that the client requests or that are required in response to the client’s initial question. The clinician will make these determinations after a transparent conversation with the client to ensure the assessor's request or the client's curiosity is necessary and agreed upon.

Completing testing with a licensed, trained psychologist who is actively practicing benefits the client. Only clinical psychologists are trained to administer, score, and interpret certain psychological tests. If the practice accepts a testing referral, you can be assured that the professional working with you is qualified to complete the entire process from start to finish. Experience and an understanding of the current literature, plus the implications and limitations of each test, give clients exclusive insights they might not receive elsewhere. We will complete all reports in a timely manner, and each client will receive frequent updates on the status of their report. Because this can be a long, detailed process, it may take time to complete; therefore, we will communicate any timeline considerations, deadlines, or due dates up front.
Fees, Costs, and Payment Expectations for
Psychological Assessments
The national average for psychological assessments ranges from $1,000 to $5,000, depending on the urgency, referral question, required time, and the complexity of the testing battery and case. Evolve Psychological Services provides comprehensive assessments and collaborates with clients to meet their situational needs. We want clients to know what they are paying for, and we take pride in offering fee disclosure for ethical transparency.
First, we offer a free initial phone consultation to determine whether the practice can provide appropriate services and accommodate the needs of the presenting concern. If all parties wish to proceed, we will establish a small fee for the clinical interview and collect it before services are rendered. At the end of the interview, a unique battery and fee schedule will be designed and reviewed to ensure clients have full transparency of any and all financial obligations. Clients can pay a lump sum up front or create a payment schedule to accommodate their budget, based on a direct conversation and their individual needs. However, clients must pay all fees in full before the report is released.
