Our Story

The practice of Evolve Psychological Services was heavily influenced by Robert Frost’s poem “Nothing Gold Can Stay.” This reflection serves as a gentle reminder that change and impermanence are natural parts of the human experience. Through life’s shifting seasons, therapy provides a grounded space to process that loss, embrace growth, and discover new value in every phase of life, however uncomfortable that change may be.
Why “Evolve” &
The Beauty of Life’s Seasons
Healing and personal growth aren't linear tasks with a fixed endpoint; they are ongoing, iterative evolutions. The practice tree emblem reflects this philosophy: strong, grounded roots paired with resilience through seasonal changes and continuous organic growth.

Why Cincinnati?
For years during my undergraduate studies in Kentucky, I drove through Cincinnati again and again. Every time I passed through, I could not shake a persistent, intuitive feeling: I was meant to discover and explore this city. Cincinnati is an unassuming, unsuspecting city, one rich with deep history, dramatic shifts, and steady reinvention. From its riverfront origins to the revival of its historic neighborhoods and lush park systems, the Queen City itself has constantly undergone big and small changes through seasons of endurance, growth, and vibrant renewal.
Growth isn't just about internal reflection; it’s also about honoring your instincts and trusting the pull toward spaces that allow you to flourish. Just like the philosophy behind Evolve, which means adapting, deepening, and changing over time, learning to listen to your gut and lean into new environments is a vital part of finding where you truly belong. Cincinnati eventually became more than a stop along the way; it became home. Incorporating local Queen City imagery across our practice reflects this deep appreciation for place, community, and the courageous journey of growing into the life and city that feels right for you.
Our Background and Values
Therapy is a collaborative space to pause, reflect, and cultivate meaningful change. Whether you are navigating complex life transitions, seeking clarity through psychological testing, or working through long-standing patterns of anxiety, my goal is to help you move forward with confidence and vitality. I bring an authentic, compassionate, and transparent approach to every session, grounding our work in integrated clinical foundations while honoring your unique lived experience.
Our Values In Action
Integrity & Genuineness
We practice with radical authenticity, transparency, professionalism, and personality. We bring our true, grounded selves into every interaction, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on real human connection.
Equality & Justice
We recognize that psychological well-being does not happen in a vacuum. We actively affirm all identities, work to reduce systemic barriers to care, and stand for dignity and fairness in the therapy room and outside of the practice.
Unconditional Positive Regard
We meet you exactly where you are without judgment, shame, or expectation. Your struggles, history, and full emotional experience are held in a safe, empathetic environment with acceptance of your lived experiences and respect for who you are
Meaning & Vitality
Therapy isn't just about symptom reduction; it’s about building a rich, purpose-filled life. We help you clarify what truly matters to you so you can move toward a vibrant, values-aligned existence.
Education & Clinical Foundations
A Person-Centered & Relational Approach
Healing begins when you are met with unconditional positive regard, radical authenticity, and genuine human presence. My practice is deeply rooted in trauma-informed principles, integrating Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into a tailored clinical experience.
Cultivating Psychological Flexibility
Rather than attempting to force away uncomfortable thoughts or painful emotions, our work focuses on integrating them into who you are becoming, transforming your relationship with them along the way. Together, we work to cultivate psychological flexibility: helping you stay grounded in the present moment, untangle from unhelpful mental loops, and take intentional, committed action toward a life that feels genuinely fulfilling.
An Authentic Therapeutic Space
Therapy with me is a collaborative alliance that honors your whole self, including your lived experience, unique background, and systemic realities. By combining clinical insight with warmth, humor, and gentle challenges, we create a space designed for deep self-understanding, internal safety, and lasting growth.

Service & Meaningful Connection
-
Community Service & Volunteering: For me, finding meaning in life is deeply tied to serving others. Volunteering and actively contributing to local community initiatives aren't just things I do; they are core expressions of my values, reinforcing that our well-being is inherently connected to the collective good.
-
Life at Home: Cherishing quiet weekends, shared meals, and daily routines alongside my partner and our two cats; who serve as constant daily reminders to cultivate presence, genuine happiness, rest, and mindful balance.
Passions & Somatic Grounding
-
Horror Movies & Thrillers: As a clinician, I have a deep appreciation for the horror genre. There is something therapeutic about safely exploring fear, suspense, and the human condition from the comfort of a cozy couch.
-
Running & Cycling: My go-to practices for intentional self-care, somatic grounding, mindfulness in motion, and staying connected to physical endurance and strength.
Self-Expression & Shifting Seasons
-
Evolving Self-Expression: I frequently change my hair color as an intentional, joyful form of creative self-expression and a healthy, fun bit of everyday rebellion. Much like the changing leaves of autumn, embracing outer shifts is an authentic way to honor personal transformation, playfulness, and living with flexibility.
-
Autumn Devotee: Fall isn't just a favorite season to me; it’s a mindset. I thrive on crisp night air, warm sweaters, crackling bonfires, hot cider, pumpkin spice, and the cozy glow of warm lamp light. Autumn represents cozy restoration, quiet integration, and the beauty of seasonal change.
Local Cincinnati Roots
-
Cincinnati Pride: Deeply connected to the local Queen City community and loving the electric energy in The Bailey at TQL Stadium on FC Cincinnati match days. This is when the chants, collective pride, and spontaneous friendships made during games capture the true spirit of community.
